I suck at updating Live Journal. New term started yesterday. I have some thirty-something class days left and then Seniors are out YAYAYAYAY! :D That's really not that far away, heh. So, here's my new schedule: A - Psychology B - Chemistry (from last term) C - Spanish II (from last term) D - Journalism A and D are electives (one term/quarter.) I have Psych with a teacher I took Government with first term and... I hated him. But my schedule didn't have many options available in order to get out of it. Oh well, at least my best friend is in it. She is also in Journalism, and Journalism is with one of my favorite teachers :D Ms. Bettencourt is absolutely out of her mind in the best way ever. Hopefully I can coast through this term. I'm going to PWN Spanish (I am right now), but Chemistry is a little harder, since the teacher hasn't taught it in four years. The other two classes, I'm not so sure about. Mr. McGuinness always finds a way to make class suck, but hopefully he'll lay off Psychology since it's last term. Journalism should be a breeze... I think I can write an article a week haha :D Blargh. Stayed home today (YES the second day of the new term lol) I wasn't feeling well last night, and it turns out I have bleeding in my GI tract again. So, Mom kept me home to make sure I'm okay and I will be hearing from my doctor shortly about what to do now since they didn't know what to do before, since this is sporadic. Stupid health issues... Always symptoms, but never a diagnosis. Meh >_> Current Music: Simple Plan

EVERY TIME I go to post on LJ, I forget! Then in the weirdest places where I have no access to a computer (i.e., in the shower, driving, in class), I think to do it. Okay, let's see... Unfortunately my memory is god awful... But I feel like I accomplished a lot in the past week. Last Thursday was our Senior Showcase (though it's also known as Senior Variety Act to some parents-- basically it's a two hour long show performed solely by the senior class.) I didn't participate, but I did enjoy watching it. Last year's was rather boring (though had some more interesting acts...), but I thought we did well on ours. I spent the night at my neighbor's house, and wound up living there until Sunday night since we had Friday - Sunday off. We had a blast... I've never watched so many movies in such a confined amount of time, nor have I slept in such a comfortable bed. It was so hard coming home from her house to sleep in my bed, lol. I have a slight pillow top on my mattress, but her's was at least six inches. Gah, so jealous, lol. She also has a bedframe and headboard, which makes me jealous as well since I just have the metal bedframe to keep the mattress off the ground and my pillows always fall between the bed and wall :( While there, her mom also ran over the plans for New York during April vacation! Kandace is turning 16 on the 19th so it's a big deal. We'll be driving up to New York on Saturday the 18th and we are definitely going to Rock of Ages, one of the many House of Wax museums, Serendipity's, and somewhere else on the 18th. Then we're going to crawl to a hotel (since apparently we will be very tired O_O LOL) that over looks Central Park and then we're going to a famous restaurant in the park the next day (I don't do NY; I've never been to the city so I don't know names =X), then a tour of Ellis Island, and later on, a tour of Ground Zero if we don't do it Saturday. I'm a little unsure of how to approach Ground Zero. For those of you who read that don't know, I had a cousin die on 9/11 from being on the floor one of the planes hit. I also don't do adrenaline well (everyone has a certain reaction to things, my reaction to adrenaline is to BAWL MY EYES OUT because I don't know what else to do with the energy LOL.) It should be interesting, for sure. So, that's New York! This week has been pretty low key. No work, but quite a bit of school work. I'm doing well in Spanish (yay) but my Chem grade is just... ugh. I can't seem to get it UP! My teacher KILLS me with multiple choice on tests and MC is a majority of all of her tests >_< I'd stay for extra help, but she doesn't help. Hopefully I can get it to budge... I need it to be assigned to Chem as a major. I was talking with my friend after school today when she pointed out one of my friends had returned from the hospital (he was in for anger issues - stemming from the fact he doesn't express himself well, so it all builds up.) I have been meaning to ask him to prom for a while... but he was in the hospital when I decided on going. I have my dress and everything (picking it up Wednesday, actually. I needed it adjusted a little) so I just needed an answer from him. So, anyway, I whirled around and ran at him because he's just one of the most amazing people I've ever met. He's so much like me that it's scary (but totally hilarious, which is why we get along so well.) High fived him, hugged him, then got all excited and was like, "OKAY! I have a question for you!" and he goes, "Well, alright, go!" and I asked, "Do you want to go to prom with me?" and this burst of enthusiasm surfaced and he goes, "Of course!!" and I told him, "May 15th, you sure?" and he goes, "Yeah!! What else would I want to do?!" So... I have a date for prom :D *squees* I was a fucking dork for the next ten minutes while my friends made fun of me because I was so excited. Laugh all they want, I'm the only one out of all of them with a date now *snickers* *continues to squee* Current Mood: bouncy Current Music: Neuroticfish

MY JOKER NECKLACE IS HERE :D Turns out it was in fact delivered Friday... but to the neighbors! I was headed upstairs to shower when the doorbell rang. Manny came running at me, so I grabbed him (he loves to attack the front door... lol.) I brought him down the hallway a bit since he's intimidating, and that left my mom to answer the door. I heard a girl say, "This was delivered to our house" and instantly knew what she was referring to. Haha, I almost lunged towards the landing to run down to the door, but I had to hold the dog XD. As soon as the door shut, I sprinted at my mom. I'm so thrilled to finally have it, it's perfect! I haven't taken it off since I got it. It's so much more awesome in person. The photos online, though drool-worthy, honestly don't do this piece of art true justice. The gloss and waterproof finish is flawless and it's just amazing. I will certainly be making future orders from Amanda! Hehe, I think I'm overly giddy about this. Everyone wanted to see my necklace, and sort of smirked at me when they saw who was on it. Of course I would have a Joker necklace... fits my personality perfectly, eh? Hehe. Here's a picture :D Yay for my pale skin contrasting brightly, woo! So... I think everyone should go check out Amanda's store and order an awesome necklace from her :3 Thanks, Amanda!! :D Current Music: Disturbed

Gah, how I missed thee. (Totally backtracking from Friday because I missed these so much LOL) 1. If your car/bike is wrecked (if your mass transit service goes belly-up), do you know what you would do to replace it, perhaps even have the car or bike you want already picked out?Gah, no >_< I'd be so screwed. Hopefully it was wrecked because of someone else, and I can collect insurance, yeah? 2. A client/friend gives you a lottery ticket, which wins you a prize worth (after taxes) ten times as much money as you earned/received last year. What will you do with it?First of all, feel really bad! Haha, I'd probably put most of it away in a savings account. I'd love to pay off college in one go, and... purchase a new car :P 3. Fight or flee?Probably flee! I'm such a wimp now haha. 4. Someone performs a random act of kindness that is exactly what you need on a bad day. If you wish to pay them back, would you write a poem, bake, buy something, or what?Chances are, I'd probably never see them again. I would thoroughly thank them at the time of the act, though! 5. Your manager commands you to pick a charity to contribute to. Do you resist? If not, which charity would be your first choice?"Commands"? Haha, well... what would I have to do? I don't know, it depends really. There are some great charities out there, but I think a lot of them are over exaggerated, IMO! Current Music: We Are Scientists

My job is over for the season. It runs from about April to July since they send to summer camps. Well, I was one of the first to go since I'm just a kid and don't really need the money. They're cutting back a ton of hours (almost four a day) and people. I'll admit I was a little down in the dumps about it, but I'm feeling much better knowing I might get a call for a whole sale -crosses fingers- It gave me something to do, and I definitely wasn't complaining about losing weight! XD I lost about 13 pounds since I started working there. Hopefully I can keep it off... Friday was interesting. I had my annual physical at 10:40 and didn't get out of there until 12:45! >.< That was annoying. I lost an hour of work cuz she wouldn't stop talking. She doesn't "want to scare me but" I might have cancer. She tried to tell me last year I had a brain tumor, so whatever. I know it seems I should get a new doctor, but she's not diagnosing it, just listing possibilities. I've had migraines for YEARS and now cancer is coming up as a possibility for something else. I'm like "Dude, wtf you can't fucking scare me." I'm not afraid. After that torture I went to work and pretty much just hung out with Cory. We literally did nothing. It was awesome ^_^ Then after we clocked out, Rafael decided to chat with us and we hung out for half an hour before leaving. Then Cory and I both wound up going to the 99 because he was starving and couldn't decide what to eat, but buffalo chicken sounded good. So chyeah we went and I pretty much watched him devour and entire order of them since I wasn't hungry (got a menengitis prevention shot at the doctors and my body wasn't very happy.). Then I texted Bre to see if she wanted to see the Love Guru and she said sure, but she was in Framingham and since it just came out that day we needed tickets. So then Cory and I wound up at my house and I called my dad to ask for his credit card number :) Then ordered em and Bre showed up. The movie was hilarious. Especially since there were these kids sitting in our row who every few moments would be like "...I don't get it!" Lawlz. Stupid pre teens. After the movie, Bre required food and we went to Chili's where I, lawlz, got a buffalo chicken salad. Cory ate most of it >.> He doesn't. Stop. Eating. I swear! He has never heard of Cold Stone's either until we went. And guess what? He didn't like his ice cream so he threw it away and TOOK MINE. What the hell. Glad everything is better when it's mine >.> I guess it's okay, since he paid for it and I was full :P He wound up throwing the rest of it at a mailbox (and missing!) when we were driving back to his house so I could drop him off. Now I'm just freaking a little cuz I drive him home after work every day... and they let me go Saturday and I had no way of getting a hold of him since I never got his number... Here's to hoping Dan goes to work tomorrow and can tell Cory I can still drive him home >.< Tags: friends, life, work Current Location: Downstairs Current Mood: calm Current Music: The Preyingmantis by Porcelain and the Tramps
